Blu Products has just shipped Studio 5.5. It’s a 5.5″ display economιc phablet, as it costs only $179 without contract.

The full specifications of the Studio 5.5 are: 5.5” display with 854 x 480 resolution, Qualcomm Snapdragon quad-core 1.2 GHz processor, 4GB of expandable storage, 5MP rear camera capable to record 1080p videos and a 2250mAh battery. It also comes with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean inside.

Pantech has something “big” to show on October 10th


The Korean OEM, Pantech, sent invitations to the press for an event that will take place on October 10th. This invitation shows a brand new bigger phablet than the company’s Vega LTE-A model.

According to rumors the new phablet will be called Vega Note and will have the following specs:

Rumors says that LG is working on a phablet that has the same size as the Xperia Z Ultra at 6.4 inches of display.
