The Sony Xperia ZL’s successor, the ZL2, has just been made official in Japan. It will be available in the standard black and white color options upon it’s launch, and like it’s predecessor, the device is looking very sleek and stylish especially with it’s much thinner bezels.
The Xperia ZL2 will be running Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box and will feature a 5-inch 1080p display with the Sony Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2 and X-Reality engine, powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.3GHz, has 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage expandable via a microSD card slot, a 20.7MP camera capable of shooting 4K videos, and a 3,000mAh battery.
There’s no word yet as to it’s availability but the device will most probably be launched outside Japan as well. We’ll keep you updated like we always do.
