Samsung To Issue An Update To Fix The Issue On Third-Party Accessories And Galaxy Note 3



When the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update first rolled out for the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, there were nothing but joy for the flagship phabet’s owners. But just a few weeks after the update, people are now having the opposite feeling as the upgrade broke the compatibility between the Note 3 and the third-party accessory of their choice. Samsung made a statement though that they haven’t made any changes on KitKat that could cause third-party accessories for the Galaxy Note 3 to be incompatible.

But now a Samsung has issued another statement that they have pinpointed the cause of the issue and will roll out another update to fix it. Read the official statement below.

“We have currently identified a software compatibility issue with the Galaxy Note 3 update to Android 4.4 (KitKat) and select 3rd party accessories. A software update will be available shortly. We are committed to offering a diverse and reliable mobile experience for all customers, providing continued support and solutions for any issues that arise with product updates for both Samsung manufactured and third-party accessories.”
