Let’s admit it. Samsung has so many Android smartphones and tablets with mutiple variants that they can’t keep up whenever a new Android version is out. With flagship smartphones, it usually takes a month or two before the update rolls out. With their other devices? It takes 3 months or more. Just ask my lonely Galaxy Note 10.1 that’s still running Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean.
But according to an insider from Samsung, two former flagship smartphones are set to receive the update in March – the Galaxy S3 and the Galaxy Note 2. Both devices has recently received the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update it’s good news that Samsung is still taking care of it’s former front-liners. As to the other Samsung devices, the insider said that the schedule for the update is in late Q4 of 2014, or soon after the update rolls out for the Galaxy S4.
