After a series of big handheld devices like the Xperia Z Ultra and Xperia Z1, Sony is set to release another big handset device that will sport a 6-inch display – the Sony Tianchi.
The Tianchi is reported to use an 8-core Cortex A7 chip from Mediatek instead of a quad core Snapdragon 800, and will have a 720p screen, which makes it a 16:9 device instead of a 16:10 one, which is a ratio usually reserved for tablets.

According to latest rumours, Google plans to stop producing Nexus devices during the next couple of years. According to the well know Russian blogger Eldar Murtazin, this will happen around 2015. According to the Russian blogger, Google will focus on releasing “Play Edition” smartphones like the HTC One and Samsung’s Galaxy S4 smartphones we know during the past couple of months, along with LG G Pad 8.3, Sony Xperia Z Ultra and Motorola Moto G that all are available with stock Android from Google’s Play Store.
