LG just announced it’s new high-end G Pro 2 device along with the G2 Mini, but the company is already looking forward to their other flagship device – the G3. The company also let out some juicy information over at a South Korean press event saying that the company is looking for all possibility to add an iris or fingerprint scanner for the upcoming device.
According to what we have gathered up to now, the G3 is said to feature a 5.5-inch qHD display with a 2560 x 1440 resolution, an octa-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz, and will run on Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box.
As the LG G3 is expected to showcase all physical buttons at the back like it’s predecessor, we expect the possibility of the device having a fingerprint scanner at the back more probable than the iris scanner. Take Note that LG did say that they are looking for possibilities so the G3 may end up without any of the two technologies in the end.
