LG Announces The L Series III Ahead Of MWC

It looks like LG is too excited to wait for the Mobile World Congress at the company announces it’s third generation of smartphones under the L series ahead of MWC just a few days ago. The company also unveiled it’s LG G Pro 2 flagship phablet and the G2 Mini ahead of the event.

The L Series III consists of low-end devices but runs on the latest Android 4.4 KitKat. Meet the L40, L70, and L90.

The L40 features a 3.5-inch display with 480 x 320 resolution powered by a dual-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz. The device also packs 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, a 3MP rear camera and none on the front. The device will pack either a 1,540mAh or a 1,700mAh batter depending on the market.

The L70 on the other hand is a bit bigger sporting a 4.5-inch display with 800 x 400 resolution, a dual-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, either an 8MP or a 5MP rear facing camera depending on the market, and a VGA front camera. The device packs a 2,100mAh battery.

Lastly, the L90 is the biggest of the three with a 4.7-inch IPS qHD display, powered by a dual-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, an 8MP/1.3MP camera combo, and a 2,540mAh removable battery.

There’s no word yet as to the devices’ pricing and availability but we’ll keep you updated like we always do.
