Archos ArcBook Unveiled│An Android-Powered Notebook

Archos arcbook

Archos just announced it’s Android-powered notebook in the ArcBook. And as we’ve seen before with all of Archos’ products, the ArcBook is targeted for consumers that are on a tight budget. The device will be available starting next month and will carry a $169.99 price tag.

While the idea of an Android-powered laptop at a very low price can sound very appealing, the Archos ArcBook packs a fairly low specs to compensate on it’s low price offering. The device is powered by a so-so dual-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz and only has 1GB of RAM. The ArcBook also features a 10.1-inch display a 1024 x 600 resolution with 8GB of internal storage and 8,000mAh battery. The Android-powered notebook will be running on Android 4.2 JellyBean, and since it is meant to a laptop/Chromebook alternative, the ArcBook comes with OfficeSuite Pro 6 preinstalled.
