Android 4.4.2 KitKat Update For The Verizon Galaxy Note 3 Now Available

The Verizon Galaxy Note 3 has yet to receive the Android 4.4 KitKat update, and if you check for one now over the air, there still won’t be any KitKat update. But thanks to Android Central Forum member spunkmeijer, we now know that Verizon Galaxy Note 3 can now be updated to Android 4.4.2 KitKat through Samsung Kies or the Verizon Software Assistant.

Both the Samsung Kies and Verizon Software Assistant can be installed on either Mac or Windows, and you just have to plug your device and get the update. According to spunkmeijer, the update will take about half an hour to install. We don’t know yet as to when the update will be rolled out over the air, but we’ll keep you updated like we always do.

Update: You can now update your Verizon Note 3 over the air! Just head over to settings – about device – software update to start getting you Android 4.4.2 KitKat treatment. Make sure to have enough battery left before executing the update.
