According to Google’s official post in Google+ the Android KitKat update procedure for Samsung Galaxy S4 and HTC One Google Play Edition has already began.
As you may know already, Android 4.4 KitKat has already been installed in Nexus 5, Nexus 7 and Nexus 10 with Nexus 4 having just received the update as well. Other manufacturers will follow with updates the coming weeks but it will take some time for the whole procedure to come to an end.

It has been a week since the Official Android 4.3 started rolling out for the Galaxy S4 and it’s inevitable that the mandatory sharing of the kernel source codes will follow. And today Samsung has uploaded the GPL-mandated source files for the XXUEMJ5 update for the GT-I9500 and GT-I9505 models.
So to all kernel developers out there, happy tweaking!
