New Google easter egg hints on the 18th of October for Android 4.4 release

A news post in Android KitKat’s Google+ page is probably hinting on the date that the new version of Android will be released (along with Nexus 5).


A news post with the KitKat droid dancing and the “Everybody dance now” motto may be Google’s easter egg that confirms the date the new OS will be released. Here’s how Android 4.4 KitKat will look like!

Well here’s something really interesting! New screenshots of Android 4.4 KitKat UI that’s scheduled to make an official appearance by mid October.


The images are obviously a bit older, since they use the Key Lime Pie naming instead of KitKat. We see small changes in the UI but the animations are more smooth than ever. There’s a new camera interface that includes and Instagram-like previews with filters and larger NFC integration in the UI along with better Miracast support.
