This new variant will feature the same specs as the regular Xperia Z Ultra variant but of course, without cellular radios. For a quick refresh of the device, the Xperia Z Ultra (WiFi) features a 6.4-inch 1920×1080 resolution display (339 ppi), powered by a Qualcomm SNapdragon 800 Quad Core CPU clocked at 2.2GHz, an 8MP/2MP camera combo, 16GB of internal storage expandable via a microSD card slot, and a 3,050mAh battery. The Xperia Z Ultra has a glass body that makes it look elegant and premium, and is also dust-resistant and waterproof.
The WiFi only Xperia Z Ultra will carry a ¥52,000 which is about 498 in US dollars. There’s no word if the device will be made available outside Japan, but we’ll keep you updated.
