LG has recently announced it’s low-end Optimus L1 II smartphone with Tri-SIM support over at Brazil last month, and now it has a new Tri-SIM competitor with the Samsung Galaxy Star Trios.

The Galaxy Start Trios GT-S5283B features a 3.14-inch QVGA display, powered by a single-core 1GHz Snapdragon S1 processor, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage expandable via a microSD card slot, a 2MP rear camera, and a 1,300mAh battery. The device runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean out of the box.

The Samsung Galaxy Star Trios is now being sold on several retail stores in Brazil and is available in black and white color option. It is priced at around $165. We don’t know yet if the device will be sold in other regions as well but we’ll keep you updated.
