According to ZDNet’s industry sources in Korea, LG’s next flagship smartphone which might be called the G3, which will be released at the second half of 2014.
And according to the same sources, and judging by LG’s past developments, the ‘G3’ will feature a 5.5-inch IPS LCD panel with 2560×1440 (Quad HD) display. LG revealed this technology back in August where they stated their plans to use it on their future flagship smartphones. The ‘G3’ is also said to be running on an octa-core processor being developed by LG as well and a 16MP camera to complete the hardware upgrade if it indeed is the successor to the G2.
The publication also stated about the device being arranged for a showdown with Samsung’s Galaxy S5 so there’s a chance that we might see it in the first half of next year which i think will happen considering that the mentioned hardware upgrades has already been developed and made by LG themselves. Keep in mind that this is all a rumor for now, but we’ll be sure to keep you updated if anything comes up.
