Nokia X Now Available In India

Nokia X

Just a few days after it’s announcement, the Nokia X is already starting to become available on some markets around the globe. And today Nokia’s first ever Android-powered smartphone has finally hit the shelves in India.

The Nokia X runs on forked Android which means there will be no official Google apps and services like the playstore. But of course, Nokia has put in it’s own apps and services and stated that you can download most apps found in the Play Store through it’s own app store and with the Yandex third-party apps store. The Nokia X series of Android smartphones also sports similar UI as it’s Windows Phone counterpart which gives a new fresh look for those who wants to try it or prepare to make the transition from Android to Windows Phone.

The Nokia X will be available in black, cyan, green, orange, yellow, and white color options for only INR 8,599 which equates to about $140. The Nokia X+ and XL on the other hand are said to follow in two months. We’ll keep you updated.
