Today, Ars Technica editor Ron Amadeo released via Google+ the new Default Email Application included in the KitKat 4.4 and Nexus 5.
The new version of Google’s default Email Application, as you can see in the screenshots below, looks and feels almost the same as the latest update of the Gmail app. It has the “swipe to delete” fuction and nav drawer as well.
It supports POP/IMAP/Exchange setups and it has nearly the same settings and options, as the Gmail app.
If you’re using an AOSP-based ROM and you try to install this new application. it will replace your default email.
