According to a report coming out of China, Samsung is working on a Galaxy Mega 5.8 variant that will be called the Galaxy Mega Plus. And as the name implies, the device will be a slightly better Galaxy Mega 5.8 carrying a quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz instead of a dual-core one clocked at 1.4GHz.
Aside from that, the Samsung Galaxy Mega Plus is said to sport the same 5.8-inch qHD display, 1.5GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage expandable via a microSD card slot, an 8MP/1.9MP camera combo, and a 2,600mAh battery. The device is said to run on Android 4.2.2 out of the box.
There’s no word regarding the device’s price or wether it would be sold outside of China, but we’ll keep you updated.
