Google has been throwing out Google Play Edition variants of several smartphones for quite a while now and it seems like they have no intention of stopping as they have just released their stock Android version of the Sony Xperia Z Ultra and LG G Pad 8.3.
The two devices quietly went official in Google Play Store, and is currently available to order in the US. The Xperia Z Ultra is priced at $649, while the G Pad 8.3 costs $349.99. Both devices are running on Android 4.4 KitKat.
