Navigation in Android interface has never been too difficult, but is constantly being simplified.
And the new app called Edge: Quick Actions brings a subtle innovation to the table.
Using it is very simple; swiping with your thumb from the device’s left edge opens a special transparent panel. There you can pick whichever service you need, for example recent apps, settings or any other shortcut.
Edge: Quick Actions is careful not to get in your way when you’re not using it. It has five most recent apps in a middle row and further shortcuts available above and below.
The application is free-to-download but there is also a premium version if you wish to have a few extra features. Edge Pro costs £1.99 and allows you to add more settings, increase recent apps number and change the app’s UI. Developer also promised to add smart actions in future updates.
Arguably navigation on Android is not such a “problem” to include premium features from the start, but if you like Edge: Quick Actions so much, it might be worth upgrading to Pro.
