BLU has unveiled it’s first LTE enabled smartphone yesterday, the Studio 5.0 – a mid-range offering priced at $249.
The BLU Studop 5.0 features a 5-inch IPS screen with a 960 x 540 resolution (220 ppi), powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor clocked at 1.4GHz and an Adreno 305 GPU. The device also sports 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage expandable via a microSD card slot, an 8MP/1.6MP camera combo, and a 2,000mAh battery. The device will run on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean out of the box, but an Android 4.3 update is said to be soon rolled out for the Studio 5.0.
The BLU Studio 5.0 will be available in Ceramic-White, Fashion-Orange, Glimmer-Pink, and Neon-Yellow color options, for $249. The device is now available for pre-order at several major retail stores like Amazon and will start shipping at the end of May.
