Archos Unveils New Neon Series Of Android Tablets


French Manufacturer Archos has unveiled a new line of affordable Android tablets called the Neon series. The Neon series consists of the Archos 90 Neon, 97 Neon, and 101 Neon. And as their model name implies, the three will be varied in sizes of 9.0 inches, 9.7 inches, and 10.1 inches.

All three tablets will run on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out of the box, and will pack 1GB of RAM, and 8GB of internal storage expandable via a microSD card slot. The listing did not specify the camera technology used and the capacity of each devices’ batteries.

Having different display sizes, the 90 Neon will sport a 800 x 480 resolution on it’s display, while the bigger 97 and 101 will feature a higher 1024 x 768 and 1024 x 600, respectively. All three devices are powered by a quad core A9 processor with different clock speeds. The 90 and 101’s processor will be clocked at 1.4GHz, while the 97’s processor clocked a littler higher at 1.6GHz.
