Well here’s something really interesting! New screenshots of Android 4.4 KitKat UI that’s scheduled to make an official appearance by mid October.
The images are obviously a bit older, since they use the Key Lime Pie naming instead of KitKat. We see small changes in the UI but the animations are more smooth than ever. There’s a new camera interface that includes and Instagram-like previews with filters and larger NFC integration in the UI along with better Miracast support.
In addition the two useful apps Drive and Keep from Google are now pre installed. Android 4.4 is expected to be unveiled along with Nexus 5 by the end of this month. Have a look at the Android 4.4 gallery that follows.
