Sony has finally unveiled the Xperia Z1 Compact along with the T-Mobile Exclusive Xperia Z1S at the CES 2014 press conference yesterday.
The Xperia Z1 Compact is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor and features a 20MP rear facing camera. And like most Xperia devices, it is water resistant. The most awaited Xperia Z1S smartphone made recently another appearance next to the Z1.
The device – according to all the latest rumors- will be unveiled by the end of November with a smaller display (4.3 inches) but incorporating all of its hardware like the Snapdragon 800 SoC and the 20.7MPixels camera. Note that a similar version of the device has also been unveiled in the Japanese market, codenamed Xperia Z1f.

In case you didn’t know guys, Sony Xperia Z1 mini has been already unveiled in the Japanese market as the Xperia Z1F device. Lots of sources however insist that Sony is preparing an international version of the lilliputian smartphone, equipped with Snapdragon 800 SoC, a 20.7MPixels camera and a 4.3 inch display.

After a series of big handheld devices like the Xperia Z Ultra and Xperia Z1, Sony is set to release another big handset device that will sport a 6-inch display – the Sony Tianchi.
The Tianchi is reported to use an 8-core Cortex A7 chip from Mediatek instead of a quad core Snapdragon 800, and will have a 720p screen, which makes it a 16:9 device instead of a 16:10 one, which is a ratio usually reserved for tablets.
