Yes folks, it’s official. The existence of the Mini version of the LG G2 is now confirmed and is set to be unveiled in February 24th at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain.

Well these seem to be excellent news. We had talked about how LG G2 will be receiving Android 4.4 KitKat update at some time in the future but this looks quite promising! These official info come from LG Saudi Arabia’s official Twitter account mentioning that the update will be released at sometime by the end of January!

According to a report out of Korea on Tuesday, the Android 4.4 KitKat update that LG rolled out for Korean G2 users was just a ‘test update’ where only 5% of the Korean G2 owners have received the update. The report also claims that the update proved to have no bugs and already has been given the green light to roll it out to the remaining 95% of the G2 users in the country.
